Professor Schuck

Romy got her new glasses a few days ago. They're actual wire frames and not the plastic ones with a strap. She did pretty good with them initially and left them on for the most part, but she's figured out how to pull them off in one swift motion and it's been tough to keep them on her face. We've been swatting her hand away and firmly saying "no" and then she pouts or cries. It makes us feel horrible, but she MUST wear these things, it's imperative to her future eyesight. She looks so stinkin' cute though!

Her legs are looser than I've ever seen them and she can plant her feet firmly on the ground, whereas she use to stand tip-toed. Her PT has seen her and says she doesn't fight the stretches as much. So overall the botox is doing wonders and will continue to improve her spasticity for weeks to come.

We all took a family trip to San Antonio and took Romy to the Alamo, since she is a certified Texan. We also visited with some family, and my Aunt and Uncle were kind enough to watch Romy overnight so Ray, his sister, Niecey and I could paint the town red on the Riverwalk. We all had a great time.

Romy and Daddy have the exact same hair color!

At the Alamo, I think Ray was sleepy....

Romy and her new spectacles

She looks like a baby genius.

She loves her Daddy and gets sooo excited when he comes home from work, she claps her hands and squeals, it's so amazing.

Romy and her Lolo, they look alike, no?

Just plain gorgeous!
